A study published just three weeks ago shows how researchers in Tasmania were able to create tracking collars with video capability to better study the habits of the Tasmanian devil.
Results show that devils spend more time scavenging than hunting, and that they have intense social interactions: most involved vocalizations and brief chases without any physical contact (so, they'll growl a lot and chase each other around but not actually fight). It's groundbreaking research on the world's largest carnivorous marsupial!
